A killer’s on the loose, and Jacky’s left alone. When she sees him in the driveway, she escapes to the lake and falls through a portal to Leiliana. A world full of enchanted creatures and cursed monsters. A world where youth is restored, and magical rubies can heal any wound or any disease.
But when Jacky returns from Leiliana, the story of her magical adventure worries her niece. Jacky’s rushed to the hospital, and her worst fear comes true… dementia.
Jacky’s world is turned upside down. Did dementia create a fantasy world, or are the Short Springs murders connected to a demon from Leiliana?

Why did I write Wacky Jacky? Because I love monsters. As simple as that may sound, it’s the truth.
Ray Harryhausen introduced me to my first monster with the 1981 classic Clash of the Titans- it was love at first sight.
When I’m not imagining strange worlds, I’m watching the sun set over the Sonoran desert as a monsoon brews off in the distance, stirring the scent of rain and creosote.
I also enjoy driving twenty miles down a dirt road to stare at a bunch of rocks, hiking through canyons, checking out car shows and hoping to see a 1979 Trans Am, and trekking off to another adventure with my husband.
